BOWMAN HOLLIS Announces Introduction of New Belt BH-3RTC

Bowman Hollis Mfg. Announces Introduction of New Belt, Specifically Designed for Corrugated Folding Applications

Bowman Hollis’ new belt is specifically designed for tough applications in corrugated folding. The BH-3RTC has a specifically designed carcass which leads to long belt life in a variety of corrugated board applications.

Charlotte, NC June 13, 2005 – Bowman Hollis Mfg. announces the release of the BH-3RTC folder belt. With its 225 pound carcass it is 50 percent stronger than other belts, ensuring absolutely no stretching and long, trouble free belt life. It negotiates pulleys as small as three inches, and will withstand a heat of 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

The blue carboxylated roughtop cover is designed to offer the perfect coefficient of friction versus paperboard. It has excellent grip, but a high degree of abrasion resistance. This ensures perfect blank control in a belt that wears very slowly.

The BH-3RTC is suited for many standard corrugated converting applications: folder belts, folder rails, understackers, downstackers, counter-ejectors, etc. Overall thickness is 0.31 inch. It is joinable by standard Alligator or Clipper lacing, plastic lacing, or overlapped stepped splicing.
